(I by now bought an everlast 100lb heavy bag and an everlast reflex bag.) I know boxers use a lot of sparring equipment like mouthpiece, headgear, and sparring gloves, but is all this essential? Do i need a break pair of gloves for heavy bag work? Do i buy just regular fight gloves or the “sparring gloves, or the “training gloves” or all of them? Will heavy bag gloves work on a speed bag? If you the answer to any of these questions i would be greatly appreciative because i start boxing next month.
I found one on sale 58% off and was wondering if it was worth buying. I dont know if it is better than the double end bag or not, or how it holds up or anything like that. So if you have any experience with this bag, plz post. Thx
If you dont know what this is it has a base you fill with water and a rod that comes up out of it with a speed bag looking bag on top its like 5 foot high and i got it from hibbets. When you hit it it goes way back pretty slow and comes back up really slow is this normal? I kinda wish it would be quicker
