Female help needed, she has lots of guy friends and a boyfriend…?

Ok I’ve been racking my brain against this and it’s starting to get a small painful. I reckon I by now know the answer, but I’m to much of a dolt to realise it.

Ok here is the tale. We’re both freshman in college, we met during orientation and we hit it off! We literally talked for hours. I thought I had it made, but when I checked ol’ facebook SHE HAD A BOYFRIEND! Most girls would give off the I HAVE A BOYFRIEND vibe, but after 5 or so hours of talking the bastard didn’t come up. Well being the talented douche bag I am I was able to rationalise to myself why I could continue talking to this girl “He lives in Montana, none of her family does anymore.” So I kept talking to her waiting to see what happens.

what do you think of this scene? (female speaker)?

—Fritz, my best supporter and the closest thing I had to family, was waiting at the front of headquarters for me. His tall, muscular frame stood at the lobby of the Front garage, glaring at me with his stunning ice-blue eyes. He was running his fingers through his light blonde hair, a touch I knew he did only when he was irritated, and I could easily guess why. Anyone who looked at Fritz would reckon there must be a waiting list of women lacking to go out with him, but it was never the case. His undying ability to worry about everything place a lot of girls off.
—When he watched me pull my bike into the garage he followed, and I slowed down to talk to him. Once we were inside, the first thing he did was pull my helmet off, and pinch my left ear.
—“Ow!” I whined. “What the heck was that for?” I punched him lightly in the stomach, which was simpler than tiresome to reach for his head.
—He was frowning at me. “The Ministry got a call from the PD that someone was driving dangerously quick this morning. Someone with a red bike.”
—I shrugged. “So?”
—“They drove on the sidewalk.”
—“Okay…”
—“And they stopped at McDonald’s along the way.”
—“I don’t see what any of this has to do with me,” I said innocently.
—“Really? How’s your egg mcmuffin?” he questioned.
—“Cold. I didn’t get here quick enough.”
—He rolled his eyes dramatically at me. “Honestly, Quake.”
—“Oh, come on, Fritz,” I said, hopping off my bike and walking at his side to the garage door. “No one can verify it was me. I bet I could find at least twenty red bikes on the road at any agreed time.”
—“And how many of persons bikes have drivers with excellent enough reflexes to drive on the sidewalks?” he scolded.
—“Um… probably one?” I said.
—He didn’t answer me, just continued to glare at me, irritated.
—“Fine,” I said. “I promise I’ll keep the speedometer below eighty when it’s not an emergency.”
—“Seventy.”
—“Deal.” I held out my hand and he squeezed it playfully.
—Fritz keen at my muffin. “Hey, at least end that before you see Oasis, huh? How’s he supposed to defend your innocence if you’re still chewin’ on the damn evidence?”
—I took one more huge bite before I threw it at him and darted through the garage door. I heard him chasing after me as we ran through the huge hallway, our light but quick footsteps slapping against the dark marble floors. We made our way to the lecture hall like that; running and darting nearly corners. That was always a touch I was grateful for. The work I did at the Front was tough, but the pay wasn’t the real reward for me. I was just glad to be able to work somewhere that I had enough freedom to act like a kid if I wanted to.
—I skidded to a stop when I was within ten feet of the lecture hall door, and Fritz crashed into me from behind. Normally, I force punch him in the arm for it, but I couldn’t take my eyes off the quickly filling seats on the other side of the door. Within my view alone, I could count ten people who were starting to seem more worthy of the mission than I was. I couldn’t make my feet go.
—Fritz caught my mood and nudged me in the ribs. “Do you plot on goin’ in any time today?” he teased.
—“Who am I kidding, Fritz?” I said in a low voice. “They’ll give it to Foretaste. I know they will.”
—“Hey,” he said, taking hold of my chin and making me face him. “You’re gonna get this thing, know? And I know for a fact that Foretaste recommended you for this mission. You’ve got it in the bag.”
—I shook my head in his hand. “I can’t go in there.”
—“I’ll drag you in if I have to.” There was no bluff in his eyes. He really would pull me kicking and screaming into the lecture hall if that’s what it came to.
—“If I have to go,” I said, “I’d rather walk, thank you very much.”
—“That’s more like it, kiddo.”

I have a question about Self Defense . . .?

Hello everyone. A few days ago (Thursday to be exact) I got into a small scuffle with some dude down the street, never seen him before, and neither of us caught any knuckles, frequently near misses and you know how persons gangster wanna-bees like to throw the hooks, most of his shots that did connect just swiped me, again, neither of us caught knuckles.

The reason for our fight really isn’t valuable, suffice to say, he thought he would try to take a touch that was happening only in his mind into his own hands, and didn’t know the full situation, and what he was thinking was happening wasn’t. I chose to voice my opinion back at him, he started huffing up to me and I didn’t back down so he took a swing at me and we danced for about a minute. The police were called, I told them he hit me first, he told them he hit me first but felt justified in his action, and my friends also were witnesses. After explaining the situation to the cops, I was GOING to press charges, but then thought for a minute, and while I still reckon he is a douche for hitting me, I kind of understood what he was thinking was happening and it was a touch that is quite serious, so I chose to not press charges, although I have up to a year to do so if I wish.

Boxing (14 year old), multiple questions? (need some experienced boxers opinion, Plz read ALL the description)?

I’ve been boxing for about 1 year, and im a small fighter and i try to fight with Mike Tyson’s stylishness. As you know Tyson’s boxing stylishness consists of a lot of slipping, dodging and countering punches.

1)Well after 1 year, my coach place me in the ring for my first sparring match against an 18 year ancient who’s boxed for 4 years. I got my butt kicked huge time. It is a whole new experience in the ring and the coach was yelling so many instructions. Also, being my first time, I flinched, blinked and tried to turn my head when he punched me. Is this the way i should be training? I really want to improve my slipping and countering abilities but its hard to do that when someone so much better than me is pounding my face in. I know its excellent to get used to fighting better opponents so i can learn and improve quicker, but I dint seem to be learning much.

How do I explain to my boyfriend what he did was unacceptable?

Last night when we were going to bed he questioned me if I could change the alarm clock to go off at 4:45AM. I changed it and went to sleep. In the morning the alarm clock went off, out of reflex I pressed the snooze. When it went off the second time I remembered it was for him and woke him up. He said thank you all nice and pleasant then woke up and started screaming at me! He said why didn’t you set the alarm for 4:30 like I told you to? If you make me miss this job you better pack your things. This is $10,000 on the line because you couldn’t set the alarm properly. I clarified to him that he questioned me to set it at 4:45 and he started getting louder saying no I said that in the beginning then I changed it. Well he must have changed it in his head then because I never heard him say it. He then kept going on about his job and how he better not miss it or I will have bags to pack. “Uhhhh now I can’t even make myself a cup of coffee! I hope your pleased with yourself!” Yes I am pleased with myself because I purposely place the alarm clock a whopping 14 minutes later than you wanted to wake up so you would be hours late and miss your job. Should I pack now or later??

I have been racking my brains all day tiresome to figure out how to tell him that that whole situation was ridiculous. He is sound tightly wound that everything I say to him has to be delecate. But I want to be firm at the same time. This is such a stupid situation! I know that the job was huge and he had a lot on the line but he still went yet to be and made himself a cup of coffee and smoked a ciggarette, so he must of not been that late.

How do you Guys/Girls think this speech is so far?

Before you choose if a video game’s violence affects a person or not, hear what i have to say about it. I believe violence in video games are not the things that shape people to be violent. Then I partially reckon they are the influences of violence. Most incidents are caused by ones events and surroundings. A video game is fictional, it’s not like you would be hurt physically by playing a violent video game.

Some surroundings that cause violence would be at home, school, or neighborhoods. At home it would be neglect, abuse or harassment. In schools it would be harassment, bullying, and fights. The neighborhoods would have gang correlated weapons, fights, and events that lead to all of persons or drugs.
